Are you hosting or participating in a World Diabetes Day event? Whether you’re forming human blue circles, hosting a blue-la hoop challenge, lighting up your town/city centre, or hosting a local gathering of friends and family, we invite you to share your photos and videos with us on Flickr and YouTube!

It’s easy and a great way to spread the word. Tag your photos and videos as “WDDCanada2009″ and they will be featured on WorldDiabetes.ca.

Here are easy instructions on how to upload!
Flickr

1. Upload your digital photos of World Diabetes Day to your computer.
2. Sign on to your Flickr account. If you don’t have a Flickr account click here. You’ll need a Yahoo! email address to create an account. If you don’t have a Yahoo address click here to sign up.
3. Click “Choose Photos” to begin uploading your photos to your Flickr album
4. Once your photos are uploaded, hit “Add a Description” and you can tag your photos WDDCanada2009.
5. Check back at WorldDiabetes.ca to see your photos featured!

YouTube

1. Upload your videos to your computer.
2. Sign on to your YouTube account. If you don’t have a YouTube account click here.
3. Click the yellow upload button in the top right corner and follow the instructions. Don’t forget to fill out the title and description. Remember to type WDDCanada2009 in the “Tags” box.
4. Check back at WorldDiabetes.ca to see your videos featured!
